KARIGARY FOUNDER STORY

Founder Story: A Journey of Passion, Art, and Empowerment

Meet Anchal Jain, the visionary founder of Karigary, a rapidly growing home decor brand known for its unique blend of craftsmanship, modern design, utility, and affordability.

Her path to starting Karigary was not a conventional one. Initially, she chose to prioritize raising her two children. And later the perfect timing arrived when she had the freedom to dedicate herself fully to her passion. That’s when she and her husband, Abhishek, structured the way for turning her dream into a reality.

Anchal always had the spark to create something of her own. An early exposure to handcrafted artware, owing to her father’s well-established home décor export business, combined with her management degree, business acumen, and family support, provided her with the perfect foundation for a future in entrepreneurship.

But she didn’t just want to sell beautiful home decor; she wanted to make a difference. With a deep commitment to social responsibility, she envisioned a brand that would help impact communities and the needy and uplift the lives of artisans. Her journey to launch Karigary, an online home décor and gifting brand, is shaped by this unwavering commitment to give back to the society.

The earnings generated from this business are utilized to support the artisans and various sections of the society that are dependent on others, such as orphanages, social organizations, and individuals, in various ways.

Starting with e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, eBay, Indiamart, and others, it was not too late when her first home decoratives and gifting brand, Indian Artisans (www.indian-artisans.com) was launched. There was no looking back, and within a couple of years another brand, Karigary (www.karigary.com) was given shape.

As quoted by the founder, “Karigary is not just a sales website. We aim to uplift, support, and empower the artisans and karigars of India through it.” Somewhere it is seen that the traditional techniques of handcrafted artware are losing markets. This could be due to the attraction towards western culture and taste, thus depleting opportunities for the artisans involved in the age-old art and techniques. Through Karigary, Anchal Jain aims to revive our Indian handcrafted arts and processes and provide a medium for the karigars and artisans to nurture and evolve their talents and skills. “We see our growth in terms of how much we are able to help the karigars grow,” says Anchal Jain

Rightly quoted by Henry J.Kaiser, “Having an aim is the key to achieving your best.” Anchal truly seems to be following this motto with full dedication.
