Karigary’s Small Step Towards Helping Flood-Affected Families

When people come together with a shared intention to help, even a small contribution can carry a meaningful message of care and solidarity.

As part of its Assam Flood Relief initiative, Karigary came together with its community to support families affected by the floods in Assam. Through this campaign, Karigary contributed ₹4,000 towards meals for flood-affected families through the Akshaya Patra Foundation.

Coming Together for Assam

During times of crisis, access to basic necessities such as food becomes especially important. Supporting meal distribution is one practical way of helping affected families during a challenging period.

For Karigary, the initiative was not about making a large gesture. It was about contributing what was possible and encouraging a spirit of support within its community.

Supporting Meals Through the Akshaya Patra Foundation

Karigary directed its contribution towards The Akshaya Patra Foundation, supporting its Assam Flood Program.

The official donation receipt confirms a contribution of ₹4,000, received on 13 August 2026. The receipt identifies the donation as support towards the Assam Flood Program.

A Small Gesture Can Still Matter

Relief work is often built through many individual contributions coming together.

A contribution of ₹4,000 may be a small step, but behind every contribution is an intention to help someone who may be going through a difficult time. By supporting meals for flood-affected families, Karigary wanted its initiative to represent something simple: one small gesture can bring a little more hope.

The photograph from the relief activity captures this spirit—people coming together, preparing and serving food, and participating in an effort focused on supporting others.

Transparency Matters

For Karigary, sharing the donation receipt is also about being transparent with its community.

The receipt issued by The Akshaya Patra Foundation records Receipt No. BLR-225-188015, dated 13 August 2026, and confirms the ₹4,000 donation for the Assam Flood Program.
This documentation helps close the loop on the initiative and shows the community where the contribution was directed.

Thank you for being part of the effort

Community support is what gives initiatives like these their meaning.

Karigary is grateful to everyone who stood behind this small effort and helped create a culture where helping others remains important. The Assam Flood Relief campaign may have been brief, but its message is much bigger: when people contribute together, every effort can become part of something that matters.

One small gesture. A little more hope.
